What a fabulous year of sewing and making!
My goodness you’ve all been busy this year! I’ve been thinking back over the months trying to tot up all the me-mades and I’ve lost count of how many wardrobes we could fill with all the clothes you’ve made!
There’ve been so many highlights through the season. From Marianne’s prize winning pink satin prom dress and classic wardrobe staples like stripe t-shirts and wide leg trousers to summery gingham puff sleeve tops, floral cotton dresses and jumpsuits before it was time for winter warming coats. Not to mention the vibrant patchwork quilts, pretty toiletry bags, and the Christmas PJs our junior sewing bees made just this week. How gorgeous do they look modelling them here!
Whether you’ve been sewing with us for years or you’re a recent convert to the joys of wearing your own me-mades we’ve loved sewing with you this year. I suspect we’re all ready for a festive rest so that we can recharge our creative batteries and come back in the new year ready for more sewing challenges. I can’t wait to see what you make next year!
Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from all of us at The Sewing Shed.
