Our Dressmaking Master Class  give you the freedom to decide what you want to sew and item of clothing, safe in the knowledge that our expert tutor will be on hand to help you along the way. With small classes and a nurturing, friendly environment these classes are perfect for anyone wanting to learn or develop their sewing skills. From making garments for adults and children to learning core dressmaking skills, and getting the right fit and understanding a professional finish then this class is for you.

Who’s it for?

This is a master class and is suitable for experienced sewers. We do offer a Beginners Sewing class on a Wednesday night, or offer mixed ability Sewing Workshops the first Saturday of the month or mixed ability Sewing Classes that are held weekly. What will I learn?

Tuition is student led and you can gain advice on any dressmaking related technique, query or fit.

What do I need to bring?

The dressmaking project (or two) that you are currently working on, your sewing kit and fabric scissors.

What equipment is supplied?

We provide a Janome sewing machine for each student and access to two very large cutting tables and two overlockers. Due to the current social distancing measures each student will work in their own zone 2m from the next student. There is ample space for students to sew and cut out. Access to the overlockers may be limited so you are welcome to bring your own from home.
