3rd October 2025: Celebrating 15 years of sewing and me-makes at The Sewing Shed

Friday 3rd October 2025: Join us for an evening of celebration and me-makes!

We can hardly believe it, but The Sewing Shed turns 15 in October, and we’d love you to join us for an evening of celebration. Léonie, Susan, Becky and Denise will be there to welcome you, and we’re extra excited that Colour Consultant Pilar Donnelly from Confidence in Colour will be joining us too. As well as teaching sewing skills to spark creativity and confidence, we love encouraging women and men to make clothes they feel fantastic in — something Pilar is just as passionate about.

When: Friday 3rd October 2025

Where: Vitello Lounge (Upstairs Bar), Brook Street Ilkley

Time: From 7pm onwards

Dress code: Me-makes! Because if ever there was a time to show off your me-makes it’s a Sewing Shed party!

Whether you’ve been sewing with us since the days of the original Sewing Shed in Leonie’s back garden, or more recently in The North Chapel, we’d love to see you and raise a glass to all The Sewing Shed sewers from the past 15 years.
