Young Designers Sewing Club

Our Young Designer’s Sewing Club runs on Wednesdays after school. These classes are designed to give Year 6 and secondary school aged students time and space outside school and home to develop their sewing skills and build their confidence in a calm, creative and nurturing environment.

With no more than ten in a class, students are guaranteed lots of expert tuition and encouragement from Leonie whether they’re learning a skill for Duke of Edinburgh, supporting their school studies or simply wanting a creative outlet.

We’ll give you a sewing project to get you going but after that it’s up to you and your imagination. You might want to design and make your own clothes, follow a dressmaking pattern, upcycle your charity shop finds, try slow sewing, make soft furnishings for your bedroom or make do & mending!

When: Wednesday 3-4.30pm

Price: £70 for five classes (classes a run in half term blocks to coincide with school terms)
